Mother’s Rugby is proud to congratulate Harry and Matt on their tremendous accomplishment. They traveled to Colorado and trained for a few days before the match day roster was announced. Both Harry and Matt were named starters against a strong Canadian side featuring several professional players. They USA won at the last breath of the match 23-22.
Notable alum Tim Brown traveled out to watch the match and many other alumni watched from home on NBCGold. After the match, Matt Gordon was named to 1st team All-American and Harry to 3rd team.
The Mother’s Rugby Alumni donated $350 to each player’s out of pocket expenses to reward them for their amazing accomplishments.
Both Matt and Harry commended USA Rugby for giving them an amazing kit.
