Mother’s Rugby is proud to announce Riley McKevitt as a member of the UMW class of 2023. He’s the fourth commitment of the spring signing period.

Riley is a member of my the West End Rugby Club where he has played for 10 years. During his time at West End, Riley won the 2015 Boys National High School Championship and the 2018 Boys State Championship. Riley has been selected as a Virginia All Star multiple times throughout his high school rugby career. The coaching staff was initially impressed by Riley’s dynamic running ability and hard-hitting defense. They look forward to seeing it on the field next season and are confident he will immediately and seamlessly fit in with the team when he hits the pitch this fall.

Riley excelled in his high school studies and plans to continue his academic excellence throughout his time at UMW. Riley intends to study Business Marketing/Management at UMW.

The entire Mother’s Rugby family is pleased to welcome Riley and his family to Fredericksburg this August as he joins the team on their continued rise in success. Riley will be a fantastic addition to UMW off the field and Mother’s Rugby on it.!
