We are very excited to announce that we are in the final stages of gifting a scoreboard to the University. It will be 16ft wide, over 6.5ft tall, feature digital team names, and run on solar power!

It will feature the foundation’s crest and the UMW Eagle with “UMW RUGBY” between the images.

Coupled with the brick seating, this new scoreboard will make UMW Rugby a premier destination to play. Only a handful of schools, many military academies, can compete with the bermudagrass field and prominent scoreboard we will likely have by the fall of 2021.

We expect this to assist both Men’s and Women’s rugby with recruiting and recognition!
